Kirsten Degenhardt
Since the age of 6, Kirsten has had a love for baking that was first inspired by her mom. Always hanging around the kitchen, waiting to lick the bowl, and watching her mom bake, she knew this was her calling.
After graduating at the top of her class in Vancouver at the Dubrulle French Culinary Institute, Kirsten went on to work at some very respectable boutique hotels in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
Kirsten's cakes are custom designed to your needs, and made using only the best and freshest ingredients. The inside of the cake is just as important as the outside!

The combinations are endless. I can do anything from simple vanilla or chocolate to whatever yummy creation we can come up with together.
Pricing
Be sure to compare "apples to apples" if you are comparison shopping. Quality of ingredients and details in design and workmanship will affect cake prices between different bakers. Don’t compromise the beauty and taste of your wedding cake just for a slightly lower price.
Depending on detail work and design:
- Rolled fondant covered cakes start at $4.50 per person
- Buttercream finished cakes start at $3.50 per person
If you're looking for something a little different, cupcakes are an option as well.
I can deliver and setup your cake to any venue within Vancouver and the Lower Mainland or beyond for a reasonable fee.
